Tommy Stinson's Cowboys in the Campfire
Blake Rainey (solo)
Blake Rainey has been recognized by The Atlanta Journal Constitution, music magazines Flagpole and Stomp & Stammer, and Creative Loafing as one of Georgia's finest songwriters. His solo material consists of heart-on-the-sleeve folk, country and scrappy-smart rock in the vein of Tom Petty, Sturgill Simpson and Paul Westerberg. Rainey's most recent LP with his long-time group The Young Antiques was rated 7 out of 10 stars by Spin Magazine, and he also regularly performs with the eponymous group Blake Rainey and His Demons, which features Joe Foy on bass, Eric Young on drums, and Aaron Mason on lead guitar. The Demons' new album, Helicopter Rose, will be released on the Atlanta-based Southern Lovers Recording Co. label this winter.
