Fugitive Artifact (dj)
Fugitive artifact is a new hardware oriented electronic project from Peter Roglin. Painted with bleak dystopian backgrounds and dark cryptic lyrics, fugitive artifact is a unique exploration on dance music drawing influence from Chicago House, techno, electro, and cold-wave. Designed to be a vehicle to explore his darker colder side, he wanted to do away with the laptop as much as possible, relying solely on drum machines and synthesizers. For Roglin, this project is about relinquishing control and embracing the ephemeral impermanence of musical ideas.

Alejandra
Mexican American neo soul, R&B singer Alejandra, is a new solo artist entering the Atlanta music scene with her latest single “the people look like flowers (at last)”. Her music defies all cultural binaries by infusing soulful rhythmic melodies with Spanglish lyrics to express the beauty and struggle rested within the duality of her identity.
Alejandra’s earthy expressiveness and silky sensual vocals set her apart from the typical genres found in her Latin roots. Yet, this doesn’t intimidate the artist from setting the stage up for a new era of creating music that combines elements of Hip-Hop, Jazz, and R&B with rhythmic influences heavily favored in Latin music.
