Deathcrown
DEATHCROWN is a band born from 25 years of influence and a passion for brutality. In the summer of 2014, Tommy Gunn (Disinterment/Narsilion/Immortal Avenger) and long-time friend Mikael Parks (Arsis/Narsilion) were having a few beers, cranking some early 90's Edge Of Sanity, Entombed, Morbid Angel, etc… They decided that getting back to their roots was long overdue. Tommy sat down and wrote a few riffs, then called friend and former bandmate Ryan Parrish (Disinterment/Iron Regan/Mammoth Grinder), and DEATHCROWN was born. Over the next few months, Tommy and Ryan got together to write some tunes, while Mikael worked on lyrics. The guys decided to bring in another very close friend, David James to play bass, and they began preproduction work for what would become the debut EP "Living Hell". Deathcrown then finalized the lineup with the welcome addition of Jake VanderBand on guitar. They released "Living Hell" in June 2016 on cassette through Primitive Ways Records, and in September 2016 on CD through Lost Apparitions Records. The band continues to tour and release new material with their current lineup. Many have called Deathcrown "The hardest working band in Death Metal" in regards to the sheer amount of DIY touring they do. Catch them on tour next time they come through your burgh.

Malformity
Malformity plays death metal, primarily influenced by the classic Swedish and Florida sounds on which its members grew up, and further shaped by personal tastes in tech, grind, thrash, and doom (as well as other sounds from the underground).
Malformity began this era in the Atlanta scene as Lectures On The Apocalypse, actively playing shows since 2009, and has shared the stage with a wide range of bands from within the local metal scene and without.
Continuing to forge onwards, Malformity has just completed work in the studio for its first proper release, while busily writing new material and performing as much as possible.
