Death Doula

Death Doula has been a project consisting of Kerry Jones (vocals, guitar) and various collaborators since 2017. Defying genre definition and following inspiration and intuition, Death Doula treat the ritual of performance as sacred practice. For this live experience, Kerry Jones and Kyle List (guitar, tape loops) will perform with a paired down setup exclusive for this performance.

Mick Mayer

Mick Mayer is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Atlanta. He is known for his time as the singer and bass player in Red Sea, but has also released music under the moniker “Mayer & Mayer” and as a part of Honey Harper’s band. Over the past two years he has been releasing music under his name, sprouting a new sound of yacht-rock inspired songs, with influences ranging from Kacey Musgraves and Hiroshi Sato. You can find “I Don’t Care” and “Lazy” on Bandcamp and all streaming services. The debut full length album is expected this summer. He will be joining us with an intimate solo set to show off and banter about the songs with a variety of instrumentation and backing tracks.

Richard Gumby

Darkly colorful art pop artist richard gumby began as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Scott Crossman. The latest release “scarecrow landing” dances hypnotically through trap beats, footwork breakdowns and Beatles-esque originality all the way to novelty music, squishy synthesizer melodies and off-kilter country guitars. Disposing of art rock riffs in place of 808s and downtempo drum machine beats, the effort is largely inspired by 90’s R&B, giving an other-worldly or other-timely space to the songs and setting them apart from those that could be placed in a similar genre.
