Neil P. was in a band for 19 years when the pandemic hit. Stuck in a one bedroom apartment for the better part of a year with an RC-505, overwhelming depression, and too much free time …the seeds of SUMPP were planted. Not long after the restrictions were lifted, Neil let go of the idea of being in a “band”. SUMPP became the idea. Is SUMPP a band? Is SUMPP a collective? SUMPP just might be a vibe. SUMPP begs questions. SUMPP is whoever wants to add their sauce to the stew. SUMPP is whatever it wants it to be; a full band, a sweaty dude with a drum machine ranting on stage, a video on the internet …whatever, man
