“Beginning in 2012, Fairlane draws inspiration from emo and alternative rock originals that dotted the underbelly of the 1990’s music scene. Upon the release of their debut EP “Spot Beneath The Earth” on UK’s Speed O Wax Records, Fairlane began a heavy tour regimen of the Eastern United States. In February of 2015 the band released a split 12″ with Delaware’s Ringfinger on which the band displayed leaps of artistic growth and laid four tracks of darkened guitar heavy songs ripe with anger, sadness, and disdain. Following the split release on Floodlight Records Fairlane continued their back to back schedule of trips here and there and plans to release a follow up EP to “Spot Beneath The Earth” later this year.
