BAaNTER

Their first original album created and recorded by melody master Otto McDonald aka ASTROKNOT and mixing mastering genius Ryan Renoud from Higher Learning and Internet Islands. BAaNTER is an eclectic mix of 90’s alternative nostalgia done modern. Showcasing an original sound by using a blend of Bossa Nova, trip-hop, heavy rock/electronica, and surf rock. They derive their sound from their influences like Nine Inch Nails, Butthole Surfers, Gorillaz, Portishead, Radiohead Weezer, Sublime, 311 and Talking Heads.

Since they’ve recorded their first original album over three years ago, they went through a two year hiatus and have accrued all new members besides frontman and guitarist Otto McDonald. The new members include bassist Blake Objartel (currently in Flat Tired) and utility keys/guitar/trumpet Joe Crabb from DOTS. Drummer Malcolm Smith (currently in He’s Not Real) from Echo Maestro. Vocal features from Thaïs Dahas currently in Pterocat. And Back up singers Holly Broderick and Cassie Gibson currently in Cassie Gibson and the Hoes. (Otto currently playing drums as one of the Hoes)
With the new crew they’re sounding tighter than ever, expecting to make a major comeback this summer with some new material and shows. All of their music is still unreleased, but stay tuned for singles from the album dropping soon! Check out this link only available until the show for the sneak peak at their debut album!

Aidan, Isaac and Luke have been writing and performing music together since 2015. Since returning to Atlanta from Los Angeles after the Covid-19 pandemic, Montage was completed by drummer Jordy Quinn. In the fall of 2022 Montage began performing at events in the Atlanta area, and they are on the brink of releasing their debut single.
