Warsenal

Warsenal was born in 2011, when Mathieu and Francis, who were playing thrash metal together, for a couple years, met Antoine at a party where they were playing and decided putting on a band. The band composed 5 songs that they played at a gig-party where there were about 100 people. People were blown away! The band then listened to people’s review of their show, and they selected people’s top 2 favorite songs which were: Hit N Run and Wars to record them for their demo. The day before they got in studio, they didn’t even know which song they would pick for the third one of their Demo. They finally came with the idea of taking two songs that they found not as strong as the other two and they put them together to build a stronger one and then came: Unstoppable. Warsenal released its Demo in February 2012. And then they started performing live in May 2012. Things have been going pretty fast for them since they started and it’s a good thing since it’s all about speed and craziness!

They played at the True Thrash Fest 2013 in Osaka, Japan with Exciter, Violator and Sabbat among others. They did a Western Canada tour in August 2013 And a Maritimes tour in March 2013. They played with bands such as: Raven, 3 Inches of Blood, Skeletonwitch, Barn Burner, Skull Fist, Cauldron, Striker, Diemonds among others.

Faethom

The story of Faethom begins in the ghoul-infested town of Cochabamba deep in the heart of Bolivia. Co-founders David Diacrono and Mariela Muerte joined their dark talents to mix that which they most love: Horror and Heavy Metal. Terror tales written by Mariela
became songs. Mariela and David relocated to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where for the next couple of years they focused on recording the music to their debut concept album with Mariela handling vocals, lyrics and keyboards and David handling guitars, bass, and drum programming.
By the end of 2009, they released an EP titled “Lullaby for Heathen Spawn” and enlisted the talents of Argentinean bassist Federico Vidal, and Californian drummer Thomas Wittig for the live experience. Unfortunately, Thomas parted ways with Faethom, the band recruited Colombian drummer Hermes Reyes and most recently added Chilean guitarist Fabian Lopez.
Faethom has since released their first full length concept album titled “In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Unholy” and played numerous live shows along the likes of Hellwitch, Withered, 3 Inches of Blood, Goatwhore and other great Metal acts.

In 2012 the band parted ways with Federico and Fabian. In October of 2013, the remaining members released “Mark of the Devil”,
an EP containing 3 new songs which will be part of their next concept album. Mariela recorded Vocals and Keys, David recorded
Guitars and Bass, and Hermes recorded all Drums. Also, bassist Matt Winters and guitarist Ken Hayward were added to the lineup
later the same month and the band started playing shows as a five piece once more.

Sadistic Ritual

“Atlanta’s metal scene continues to thrive, providing touring bands a seemingly endless parade of skull-crushing openers. Towering above them all, Sadistic Ritual brings a throwback thrash metal snarl to the scene. Frontman Charlie Southern’s whiplash riffs drive the group’s sound and spiritually depraved-yet-socially progressive lyrics. The band has dominated the local metal heap for a few years now, its popularity due to its devastating live sets. This year’s Edge of the Knife EP seals Sadistic Rituals’ mastery of the local metal scene. Songs such as “Funeral Raid,” “Restless Dead,” and “Morbid Genocide” are testaments to the power of thrash.” – Creative Loafing
